AS part of British Food Fornight (September 20 until October 6), a cider farm in Somerset is running a special tour.
Sheppy's Cider Farm in Taunton is running a cheese and cider tour to celebrate the fornight, which is run by Love British Food.
The tour will take place on Friday, September 27, from 6pm until 8pm. To book, click here.
David and Louisa Sheppy will show visitors around the orchards and vat houses - where the ciders are fermented and aged - and the press house.
A spokesperson for the event said: "The tour is all about celebrating local food and beverage businesses and highlighting the joys of enjoying quality, fresh, seasonal, and regionally distinct produce.
"Guests will also have the chance to experience the 200-year rich history and heritage of Sheppy’s Cider in the rural museum, and then finish the tour with a fully tutored tasting of five Sheppy’s award-winning Somerset ciders, paired with five local cheeses. There’s no better way to celebrate local British food!"
