STUDENTS at colleges across Cornwall and Devon are celebrating after receiving their results earlier this month.
The Cornwall College Group (TCCG), which includes a range of land-based colleges, has revealed that the 2024 results were 'one of the most successful years' in the history of TCCG.
They revealed that 39 of the level 3 courses - such as agriculture and animal management - achieved a perfect pass rate.
Principal and chief executive of TCCG, Rob Bosworth, said: “These fantastic results across so many subjects reflect not just our incredible students, but also the years of dedication and commitment of our amazing staff.
"It shows that the students right across the group are receiving the very best education and skills training in the country.
“Anyone thinking about their next steps in education or how they can progress in their careers should visit our website, give us a call, or pop into one of our advice sessions.”
TCCG, which includes Bicton College but also has University Centres in Newquay and at the Eden Project, says they have seen a boost in achievement levels across the board this year.
Patrick Newberry, chair of governors, said the results come at an exciting time for the collefe, which has recently announced a £90million investment across all campuses.

"The Board would like to add their congratulations to the students and staff," he added.
"We are deeply committed to investing in new and improved facilities for all our students. In addition to the creation of the first carbon-neutral college in St Austell, the investment will also improve facilities across all campuses, providing state-of-the-art resources and ensuring students have access to top-quality education and training opportunities, further supporting the local community and economy."
