TWO free grassland events are taking place in Cornwall next week.
Run by agricultural consultancy ADAS, national grassland advisor Tim Martyn and agricultural consultant and farmer Matthew Turner will run sessions on how to successfully incorporate multi-species herbal leys into grassland systems.
Sessions will also include a walk around the host farm to see an established herbal ley.
One session will take place on Tuesday, Septembr 10, at Lower Northcott Farm in Launceston (PL15 9RQ). Host farmer Martin Howard will share their experience of multi-species swards and herbal ley establishment and management.
Another session will take place on Wednesday, September 11, at Ennis Barton Farm in Fraddon (TR9 6EY). Host farmer Andrew Brewer will share their experiences.

Both sessions will run from 10am until 2pm. BASIS and NRoSO points will be available and lunch will be provided.
