The NFU Mutual Tiverton and South Molton agency has welcomed a new team member.

James Maxwell, the new group secretary and insurance agent, joins partners Pete Randerson and Emily Mills.

James, originally from South West Wales, moved to Devon in 2016 to be closer to family.

He began his career with NFU Mutual on their Future Agent scheme in 2020.

He brings with him his experience as a commercial insurance agent from his previous role.

Mr Maxwell said: "I'm thrilled to join the NFU Mutual Tiverton and South Molton agency.

"It's a fantastic opportunity to become part of a growing, forward-thinking business with a well-established leadership team.

"The chance to collaborate with two experienced partners of similar age really allows us to collectively plan for the future."

The current partners, Mr Randerson and Ms Mills, are equally excited about the addition to their team.

Mr Randerson said: "We're delighted to welcome James to the team.

"His wealth of experience in commercial insurance, combined with the fresh perspective he brings, will be a tremendous asset as we continue to grow and evolve."

Ms Mills said: "James’s passion for delivering outstanding service aligns perfectly with our commitment to supporting local businesses and communities.

"We’re excited to see how his expertise will help us further enhance the service we offer to our clients."

Despite the expansion, the South Molton office will remain an integral part of the agency's operations, with no changes to the office or staff.

Stuart Holton, former South Molton agent, will remain with the team in a consultative capacity.
